KIDS MINISTRY

Balboa believes in the importance of teaching kids age-appropriate gospel centered theology.  We engage kids with songs and videos that are engaging and incorporate the message each week.  We know parents are the main fatih leaders in a childs life and undertand that two faith influences are better than one.  We want kids to know Jesus in a way that keeps them wanting to know more.
Kids Classes
             PreK - K             4yrs - Kindergarten
             Elementary          1st grade - 3rd grade
             Preteen              4th grade - 6th grade

After a long day of school, we have discovered kids really enjoy a casual Wednesday evening.  We explore the Bible through games, stories, crafts and other learning experiences - both fun and engaging. This multi-faceted approach not only fosters a deeper appreciation for the Bible’s teachings but also encourages creativity and critical thinking in interpreting its scripture.

Your child’s safety is of the upmost importance to us.  All staff/volunteers in the Family Ministry are required to be screened with an interview,  background check, reference check.  Balboa Safety Ministry team is working anytime we have kids on campus.

On your first visit, plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes before the start of the service, and let one of our greeters know you’re visiting when you arrive. They’ll walk you directly to our Kids Check-In where you’ll be registered and receive your child’s parent identification number.  Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, During check out, you will show this security tag to your child’s small group leader in order for your child to be released to you.
