At Balboa Baptist Church, Sunday mornings are at the heart of who we are. We gather to worship Jesus, hear God's Word proclaimed, and grow together through Bible classes where meaningful relationships are built and faith is strengthened.
We believe following Jesus is more than attending a worship service. It's growing in God's Word, encouraging one another, and walking through life together.
Worship brings us together. God's Word helps us grow. Community helps us belong.
Whether you prefer traditional or contemporary worship, we invite you to experience the full Sunday morning at Balboa—worship and Bible class. Childcare is available during both services for ages kindergarten and below.

If you prefer traditional hymns with a choir, you will want to visit our 9am Traditional Service. Beautiful music featuring a grand piano, organ and drums fill the sanctuary every Sunday morning.

Contemporary worship service

If your style is a bit more casual with newer worship songs led by a band, the 10:30am Contemporary Service will fit you and your family. Grab a coffee and make your way into the Big Room of the Outreach Center.

At Balboa, Bible classes are more than a place to study Scripture—they're where friendships grow, faith deepens, and we care for one another through life's journey. Our Sunday morning Bible classes are at the heart of our church family, with additional studies offered throughout the week.
