Balboa Women’s Ministry (BWM) has five areas of ministry to support our mission – equipping women to know, love, and serve Christ:

- First Thursday Prayer Time (FTPT)
First Thursday Prayer Time provides an opportunity to lift up the needs of our nation, country, state, Village, church, and personal lives to our Mighty and Loving LORD through praying aloud and silent prayers. Praying aloud is strictly volunteer.First Thursday of every month (10am-11am)
- Bible Studies
Bible Studies provide an opportunity to delve into the meaning of scripture through small group biblical studies. These studies are structured for fellowship through meeting together, building friendships, and learning from each other.Fall and Spring studies offered.
- Team Training Conferences
Team Training Conferences provide internal and external opportunities for women to worship and study through a variety of Christian resources such as events, workshops, livestream, etc.
- Girls, Games, and Goodies (GGG)
Girls, Games, and Goodies provides an opportunity for fellowship through games, food and outreach to meet the needs in the community and surrounding areas. Ladies who participate contribute toward our food ministry for Harvey’s Chapel and other mission projects throughout the year.Second Thursday of every month-except December (10am-2pm)
Outreach Center, Big Room
- Threads of Hope Sewing Missions/Fidget Mats/Knitting and Crocheting
Threads of Hope Sewing Missions provide an opportunity to share faith through hearts and hands by making items for those in need in hospitals, long-term care, memory care facilities, homebound, and Hospice care.Fourth Thursday of every month-except November and December (9am-3pm)
Main Building, Fellowship Hall
- Mission Projects
Mission Projects provide outreach opportunities to meet needs in the community and surrounding areas. Outreach projects this year include providing clothing items needed for the homeless, school clothes for area children, and baskets for hospice families.
