The Truth Will Set You Free

Jesus said, “I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Some say Jesus isn’t the only way, but that all religions, beliefs, non-beliefs, and philosophies lead to heaven. That’s a direct contradiction to what Jesus said.

So the real issue is, “Who is Jesus?” Is He The Christ and Lord? Is He the only-begotten, one-of-kind, divine, unique Son of God? Is He the only One who can free you from sin? Is He The One who died for you? Is He the only way to heaven?

So, who do you say Jesus is?

Read John 8:12-59 in the Bible or YouVersion app. Jesus called those who denied Him a liar and Satan’s children. Jesus is the Son of God and the only true revelation of His Father. So any other teaching is a lie, therefore heresy.

Jesus said, “Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin” (John 8:34). “So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free” (John 8:36). No one else can set you free from your sin except Jesus.

This false teaching that everyone is going to heaven, puts so many at ease. Don’t be at ease. Allow the Spirit of God to convict your soul’s sin nature that separates you from your Creator. Jesus is the only way for that sin nature to be forgiven and for you to be set at ease. Trust Jesus and Jesus alone.

God loves you so much He sacrificed His Son for you. Now that’s a great love! You must admit you are a sinner, and you need a Savior. Then you must believe Jesus is the only Savior. God did for you everything you could not do for yourself. All you have to do is believe and follow Jesus. But God won’t force you to do it. What a great God. What more could you ask for?
